A monthly series of fascinating talks, thought-provoking conversations and human connection in Chelsea, London

Ever wondered why we do what we do, even when we know better?

Why do intelligent people sometimes behave so irrationally?

Or how much of what we think, feel and do is actually under our control?

Do join us for an evening of fascinating insights into the human brain, lively conversation and delightful company, all over a glass of wine at one of Chelsea’s most charming venues.

Next talk on 26/10/2026

At Trafalgar Public House in Chelsea, London

How the brain shapes behaviour: why we think, feel and react the way we do

£25 · Includes a drink* and nibbles · Limited places

Once a month, we gather at the gorgeous Trafalgar Pub in Chelsea, an elegant and welcoming setting to explore the fascinating ways our brains shape our behaviour, emotions and everyday lives.

Each evening combines a lively talk, Q&A and drinks, with Bruna De Palo in conversation with Lusiana Graham.

Bruna De Palo is a neuroscience-based coach and author of The Brain Instruction Manual for Leaders: What nobody told you about working with humans (Hachette, 2026), recognised by Thinkers50 as a Global Top 50 Executive Coach.

Expect bold ideas, practical insights and plenty of food for thought.

Join a warm, intellectually stimulating Chelsea circle for people who enjoy thinking deeply, questioning assumptions, exchanging ideas – a space to shift your focus from doing to being.

Here's what each evening looks like:

  • 6.30pm - Arrive, settle in, connect. Doors open. Grab a drink*, mingle and ease into the evening.
  • 7:00 pm - The conversation begins. Lusiana and Bruna explore the evening’s theme through neuroscience, stories and real-life examples.
  • 7:30 pm - Your turn. Open Q&A, genuine questions and different perspectives from the room.
  • 8:15 pm - Keep the conversation going. The formal part ends, but the evening doesn’t. Stay for drinks, food and more conversation with the Chelsea circle.
  • 9:00 pm - Until next time. We wrap up for the evening, hopefully with new connections and plenty to think about.

*Your drink can be a glass of house wine, Prosecco, a pint of beer or a soft drink of your choice.

The atmosphere is relaxed, and you're very welcome to order food and enjoy your dinner during the talk.

We want you to feel at home!

A taste of the conversations

Some of the questions we'll explore throughout the series:

  • What is AI doing to our brains, and what about our teenagers' brains?
  • How can we handle emotions in difficult moments?
  • Can we truly change who we are?
  • Why do some people drive us crazy, and how can we deal with them without losing our minds?
  • What's going on in a teenager's brain, and why is communicating with them sometimes so difficult?
  • How do we stop acting like human doings and start again like human beings?

A Little Insight. A Little Surprise.

Each evening, you'll pick a Power Line from a bowl: a card featuring a key idea from The Brain Instruction Manual for Leaders to help you see yourself, others or the world a little differently.

But here's the twist! Hidden among them are a few golden cards. Pick one and you'll win a special gift of your choice from three options!

A little surprise and a thought-provoking insight to take home with you.

And if you'd like to explore the ideas further, you can purchase a copy of the book on the evening, with a complimentary bookmark!

Tiziana Di Matteo

What a magical evening! It was a real pleasure to see you on stage and to listen to such an engaging and thought-provoking talk. The presentation of the book, and in particular your reflections on the intersection of artificial intelligence, neuroscience and leadership, were truly fascinating and offered so much food for thought. Thank you for such an inspiring contribution, you are an exceptional speaker!

The book launch event on Tuesday was a true reflection of who you are as a communicator: authentic, engaging, curious and completely unique. I was really impressed by the way you handled the wide range - and sometimes wonderfully random! - of questions from the audience: you inspired us, gave us new perspectives and made us laugh. A beautiful evening and fascinating conversation.

Bruna, I so enjoyed your talk, it was wonderful to be introduced to you and your brilliant book! You have such a gift for presenting ideas in a way that feels fresh, intuitive and genuinely useful. I had several “of course, that makes so much sense” moments listening to you, and so much of what you said resonated. I’m loving the book too. Huge congratulations!
